PAUL’S DAY
In spite of the fact that he didn’t make it to Dad’s Wall of Fame, Paul was thankful that Dad had advanced him enough money to get started at San Jose State. By the middle of his 2nd year, washing dinner dishes at a sorority house was Paul's total income so he switched his major to avoid the afternoon labs and have a better chance at getting after school work.
By the time school resumed, Paul got in touch with several of his buddies from the Varsity House, rented a big house on Tenth street and split the rent between the “renters”. As the “landlord”, his rent was free. Worked like a charm! Paul found a job at the 76 station working 6 to midnight and a job driving a delivery truck afternoons for Rossi furniture.
Paul’s room mate arranged a date for him with a beautiful blue eyed blond haired young lady with a nice chest named Nancy Grace Larson. Brother Denny arranged an interview for a job in the IBM department at Sunsweet Growers, the beginning of his life long career in computers. On the day after Paul’s graduation, Paul and Nancy were married and the rest is history! (See Our Life for details.)
